The minimalist Bridge House in Achterhoek, Netherlands - Modern Családi Villa Hollandiából

This Single family residence locating in Achterhoek, Netherlands designed by 123DV.
Sustainability also inspired the design of the house. The villa is self-sufficient. At any time, the occupants can go off the net without losing their energy supply. Water is drawn from a private well, and the practical and sustainable built-in features include solar panels, roof and floor heating through thermal energy storage, reuse of rainwater, a septic tank, shielded power cables, and Heat Mirror glass. This unique glass acts as an efficient and environmentally friendly awning, cooling the house and keeping out excess heat.

Casa RO Tapalpa by Elías Rizo Arquitectos - Modern Weekend ház Mexikóból

This house is situated in a forested area near the town of Tapalpa. The project consists of a country house to be used at weekends, so the program was basic. The project evolves from the idea of making a place of refuge, where isolation from the urban life and noise is the main priority. The house has a linear distribution with two distinct areas: the private areas accessed through a corridor and the public areas which span the main entrance to the terrace. The house is constructed with regional materials: solid walls made of slate and wood, and high ceilings with wooden beams. The private area holds three bedrooms while the public area contains the kitchen, living room, and terrace. The commission demanded a country house with common features, respect for the context and a specific program; but the most important request was for the house to step away from the usual typologies for houses of the region.

With a contemporary personality, this house assumes a posture of absolute respect for the exterior which should be the main character. The house opens almost completely to the outside unlike all neighboring houses in the area. Most houses in the region take an inexplicable stance of closing off from the outside with the argument of cold weather. The finishing’s were carefully selected and designed to provide all the comforts of a city house such as quality flooring, carpentry and bathroom. The result is an impeccable construction where everything was completely thought through.

The High End Office Building - Wangjing soho by Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid Architects have released new renders of a 200-metre-high commercial complex designed for Beijing.
the Wangjing Soho complex will comprise three large pebble-shaped buildings overlooking a road that leads to Beijing Capital Airport.
A three-storey retail podium will occupy the basement, ground and first floors of the buildings, while up to 37 floors of offices will be located above

Here are a few more details from the architects:
Wangjing Soho
Beijing, China

the Wangjing Soho building complex is a beacon along the way to Beijing’s modern gateway, the Capital Airport, and the journey of transition to and from the city.

the project acts as a welcoming post to the city and a gesture of farewell when departing Beijing. the buildings achieve this by reading differently when transitioning in either direction, leaving distinctly different impressions on those who pass by.

Like Chinese Fans, the volumes appear to move around each other in an intricate dance, each embracing the other from a continuously changing angle. this interplay creates a vibrant architectural complex that is enhanced by an equally dynamic external skin, which continuously varies in density creating a shimmering, exciting presence.

Geometrical Concrete House in Shanghai by Archi-Union Architects - Geometrikus beton ház koncepció Kínából

Shangai-based design studio Archi-Union Architects has designed this Tea House and Library. Completed in 2011, this contemporary tea house is located in the backyard of their office, in Yangpu District, Shanghai, China.
According tot he architects: “The Tea House is constructed from salvaged parts of a  collapsed warehouse roof. The site was extremely constricted with walls on three sides, with only one side facing towards a nopen space that contains a pool. The space was further restricted by a mature tree. The design tries to embody harmony by integrating enclosure and openness, delightful space and logical construction and other complicated relations.
This contemporary Chinese property reacts to the site’s environment; the plan layout is a logically obscure quadrilateral, thus maximising the amount of space. It is divided into three parts. A covered public area is formed towards the open space with the pool, with an enclosed tea house at ground level and library on the first floor where a small triangular balcony extends around the existing tree. Other more private spaces exist such as a lounge, reading room and service room which are arranged towards the rear of the building; a delightful transitional space was created to connect the public space and the private spaces.” Images courtesy of  Zhonghai Shen.

The Multi-Generational Villa in Stuttgart by Alexander Brenner Architects - Modern kortárs villa tervezés Stuttgártból

Stuttgart-based studio Alexander Brenner Architects has designed the Oberen Berg House. Completed in 2007, this three story contemporary home is located in Stuttgart, Germany. When approaching the building via the access road in a depth-layered  picture is discernible. The northeast side of the house is an addition/a combination of white cubes. Each of them is recognizable as an individu- al structure when viewed from close up, but seen from a distance, they merge to form a unified whole.
As you enter the house from the north-east via the two-storey entran- ce hall, the floor-to-ceiling glazing facing southwest opens up onto the garden. One can look out over the pool in front of the house, and across the valley towards the hills opposite. In this entrance hall (as in the whole house), visitors are aware of an interplay of open and enclosed spaces stretching between transparent expanses of glass and protective walls. This layout satisfies both the occupants’ need for security and, on the other hand, for openness and a connection with the surrounding natural landscape.
If necessary, the house can be divided into units of varying sizes without major constructional work being required, thus offering its occupants maximum flexibility and permitting a suitable way of living for every lifestyle and family situation. This multi-generational villa is a new and sustainable reinterpretation of the old dream of a house that can grow and shrink within the same building shell.

Alexander Brenner építésziroda tervezte a Stuttgartban található három szintes kortárs házat. A ház északkeleti oldala fehér kockakövek kombinációjából áll,amit ha közelről nézünk minden egyes eleme egyedülálló szerkezetként is felismerhető, de a távolból nézve egységes egészet alkot. Ahogy északkeletről a két szintes bejáraton keresztül közelítjük meg a házat, a délnyugatra néző mennyezettől-padlóig tartó üvegfal egy kertbe nyílik. A ház előtt kitekinthetünk a medence felett,míg az ellenkező
oldalon a völgyön át a hegyek tárulnak elénk.
