In contrast to the existing angular shape of the apartment, curvy shape is used as the backbone of the interior structure. To soften the sharp angles of the interior, Joey creates a streamlined wall featured and let it wrap around the living space from dining to living area, and continue all the way to the foyer. This innovative framework conjures up a sense of enclosure and creates a new spatial relationship for the interior, which helps organize various zoning.One major design element of this apartment is the overlapping of spaces, for example, the kitchen is opened up by glass wall and door to allow natural night penetrating into the interior. Furthermore, an ocean pattern glass wall is inserted into the kitchen area to create a sense of depth and vitality and to extend people’s vision along this ‘cube within cube’ design. Similar approach is adopted in the master bedroom where the bathroom is opened up by glass partitions to connect with the bedroom area that set on a timber platform. From living to dining to the bedroom area, different layers and transparent materials intertwine both horizontally and vertically and create an open and cohesive spatial relationship for the young people to embrace their new way of living.
Hong Kongban épült meg ez a lakás amely 3 összeköltöző fiatalnak készült és a Hong Kongi designer Joey Ho nevéhez fűződik.A fiatalosra hangolt belső design a kanyargós keretszerkezetet alkotó falaival ,letisztult formavilágával , a fehér környezetből itt ott kibukkanó zseniális színes textúráival, és anyagaival , mind mind hozzájárulnak ahhoz hogy egy különleges térben érezhessük magunkat.Az egyik fő tervezési irányelv az volt hogy a terek átfedésben legyenek egymással ne különüljenek egymástól teljesen ,inkább átfollyanak egymásba, így hozva létre fantasztikus térélményt.
